Timothy Armstrong, of Armstrong Moving Pictures, is an independent film producer with three young children, including busy 2-year old twins. When Tim’s first child was born he saw the need for fun, entertaining, high-quality programming that taught young children valuable lessons about manners, respect and sharing, so he created the first DVD in the series, Mango and Papaya’s Animal Adventure. He writes, directs, and produces The Wheels on the Bus Series.

 

 


Tiffany FosterTiffany Foster, CEO & Producer

Tiffany Foster is the CEO of Our Happy Child Productions. Tiffany has three young children with her husband Frank, and cares passionately about creating high quality, family-friendly programming for young children. Young children’s brains are creating synaptic connections by the trillions (literally!) and rhythm, music and repetition help children learn through reinforcing the positive connections. Tiffany’s background is in Marketing and Strategic Planning. Tiffany, originally from Sydney, earned her MBA from Harvard Business School in 1993 and worked for The L/E/K Partnership, The Advisory Board Company, Reebok International, and BT Looksmart as well as running her own company for many years. She joined Tim Armstrong, Randall Frederick and Rob Renshaw in 2005 to create Our Happy Child Productions.

 


Roger Daltrey

Roger Daltrey is a rock vocalist, songwriter, and actor, best known as the founder and lead singer of English rock band The Who. He has maintained a successful musical career as a solo artist and has also worked in the film industry, acting in a large number of film, theatre and television roles. In 2003, Roger Daltrey was honored by Time Magazine as a European Hero for his work with the Teenage Cancer Trust and other charities. "The Wheels on the Bus Video gave me the chance to do something different," says Daltrey, "It's a great way of introducing music to a whole new generation of kids - maybe even the grandchildren of teenagers that grew up listening to the WHO!"


Laura Hall

Laura Hall

Laura is best known as the improvisational pianist on TV's WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?  In addition to composing the music for The Wheels on the Bus Series, Laura has also written and produced two albums of original children’s music, I SEE A TIGER and COME JOIN THE PARADE.  She wrote the music for the TELL ME A STORY series of cd,’s, as well as several independent films, including the award winning documentary, SWIMMING IN AUSCHWITZ.  And she recently released her first cd of original faith based songs, A WOMAN OF FAITH.

Janie Laurel Escalle

Janie Escalle

Janie Escalle, now an 8th grader, debuted in her first Wheels on the Bus video when she was 7 years old. She has appeared live on stage in classic musicals such as Annie, Gypsy, Children of Eden, Goodbye Girl, Seussical as well as others in venues around San Diego such as The Walk Resort, The Moonlight Ampitheatre, Carlsbad Cultural Arts Theatre and Mira Costa Community College. Janie attends five dance classes per week which includes Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Lyrical. She enjoys singing with the performing show choir at school and is proud to have been a part of the Wheels on the Bus series.

 

 

 


Frank FosterFrank Foster, Executive Producer

Frank’s primary business is Venture Capital. Frank is a Partner with The DFJ Frontier Funds and The Gideon Hixon Funds, in CA, as well as a Venture Partner with Southern Cross Venture Partners in Australia. He is an investor in Our Happy Child Productions and lends both operational as well as business development skills to the team.

 

 

 


Dr. Dorothy Singer

Dr. Dorothy SingerDorothy G. Singer is Senior Research Scientist, Department of Psychology, Yale University. She is also Co-Director, with Jerome L. Singer, of the Yale University Family Television Research and Consultation Center, a  unit  of  the Zigler Center for  Child Development and  Social Policy. An expert on early childhood development, television effects on youth, and parent training in imaginative play, she has written more than 20 books and over 160 articles. Her latest books are Handbook of Children and the Media;  Make-Believe: Games and Activities for Imaginative Play; Imagination and Play in the Electronic Age; and Play =Learning.  Children's Play: Roots of Reading, was selected for CHOICE's Outstanding Academic Title list. Singer received the award for Distinguished Scientific Contributions to the Media by Division 46 of  the American Psychological Association in 2004. She received the  Distinguished  Alumni Award from Teachers  College, Columbia University  in 2006. Dr. Singer is a consultant to The Wheels on the Bus series of DVDs.

 


RANDALL FREDERICK Randall Frederick - Producer

RANDALL FREDERICK is a Producer for The Wheels on the Bus series. Randall has worked on all three titles for the series and has been producing films and videos for over twenty years. He has won the Best of Festival at the British Medical Association Film Festival, top honors at the International Film and TV Festival of New York and the National Educational Film/Video Festival, as well as two cum laude awards at the Medicalina Festival in Italy.

Over the last 10 years, Mr. Frederick has produced more than 100 corporate videos and dozens of corporate events for numerous clients, including Palm, E*TRADE, 3Com, Informix, Cisco, Adobe, Cadence Design Systems and National Semiconductor.

 


 


  Rob RenshawRob Renshaw

Rob Renshaw is an entrepreneur who works with many different companies to help them be successful.

For Wheels on the Bus, Rob is an investor and a producer, contributing in all areas of production and marketing. Rob also handles the fulfillment for Our Happy Child -- he ships out products to customers around the world. When anyone has a question, Rob is the go-to guy who happily provides the answer with a great attitude and a "have a nice day!" Rob has an eight-year-old son named Matthew and lives in Southern California.
