Dove Family-Approved!
Do you ever wish that your kid's could be content and calm for 30 minutes, just so you could cook dinner? Well here's your solution. Wheels on the Bus is extremely captivating. Mango and Papaya need to find their home, just one problem, they can't remember where it is. Take a ride along with them as they visit Aquarium of the Pacific, Farm Animals and finally the zoo. As a warning to the adults, if you see even two minutes of this fun and exciting journey, you too will be sprawled out on the couch to see where they end up. I recommend this video to anyone with a keen sense of adventure.

KIDS FIRST!
KIDS FIRST! Adult Juror Comments:
Oh, my gosh - really cute! Great music, adorable characters. Mango and Papaya take the bus and visit a zoo, aquarium, farm, etc. and learn lessons
about friendship, safety, habitat, and nutrition. Friendly characters; storyline addresses kids' interests.
KIDS FIRST! KID Juror Comments:
Loved this! Watched it three times right away. Loved the characters and the dragon bus driver. Kids all sang and danced along to the Wheel on the Bus song. "I want to go to the zoo to see the zebras." "Can we go to the aquarium and see Nemo?"

School Library Journal
This lively, colorful production for young children does an excellent job of teaching and entertaining. Papaya and Mango, a toucan and a monkey, join with Argon the Dragon (voiced by The Who's Roger Daltrey) to take their viewers on a bus trip to a zoo, an aquarium, and a farm. Using the song "The Wheels on the Bus" throughout the video, children, adults, and puppets of all ages sing their way to different destinations.
The bus theme provides an excellent segue between the themes. Many varied topics are covered (fueling the bus gives way to a song about nutrition and keeping our bodies running). The puppets and people interact against a computer-generated background.
Each location visited includes live-action footage of the animals represented along with visual labels. Winner of the 2004 Parents' Choice Silver Honor Award, this production will be popular with young viewers and their caretakers. An essential purchase for libraries serving young children.

KIDS FIRST!
Perfect for pre-schoolers! Songs are lively and familiar. The items used to rescue the mouse will be familiar to most children. Bright colors and well-constructed puppets are a plus. Music is very professional. Human interaction with puppets are appropriate and fun. Altogether, it's very enjoyable and highly recommended.

iPARENTING Best Products of 2006
Basing the content around the popular children's song made it instantly recognizable and of interest to my son. He loved whenever they sang. The little girl who plays the lead is very animated and also kept his attention.
The positive characteristic of this product is that it is a versatile learning experience. It incorporates manners, sharing, knowledge, animals, music, etc., into a DVD. The people on the bus were different races, sizes, shapes that all the children could relate to. Another positive characteristic of the DVD was that the puppets were in sync while singing with to the music. This is very different from most DVDs.
Throughout the entire video, the characters spoke with manners, encouraged good deeds and "lead by example." The characters pointed out when someone else did something kind or nice.

Designed to help children develop early social skills, this program features Mango and Papaya, two puppet characters. Mango is a monkey and Papaya is a bird. A dragon character, Argon, is voiced by Roger Daltry of The Who, and Saturday Night Live alumna Victoria Jackson is the voice of Moon Mouse. The musical adventure is an engaging mix of live action, puppetry, and animation. Mango and Papaya leave their home at the zoo and hop aboard the bus in search of someone to help. En route they come across Moon Mouse who has crashed to Earth in search of cheese. In the process of helping Moon Mouse, Mango and Papaya visit a reptile show, a bird show, a birthday party, a grocery store, and the Moon. The storyline highlights messages that encourage sharing, friendship, cooperation, and good nutrition. The songs are lively and entertaining. Among the DVD's special features are behind the scenes footage and a full-length reptile show. The songs and story feature positive messages presented in a fun and engaging format. A sound addition to public library collections for young children.
